A symbol of secession, the “Bonnie Blue Flag” was an unofficial flag of the Confederate States of America. It was especially popular during the war’s early years. The song by the same name combined lyrics written in 1861 by Harry McCarthy with the tune “The Irish Jaunting Car.”

Lincoln wasn't even on the ballot in the south, the wrong side won. If the south won we wouldn't call it a civil war it would be revolutionary war 2.

The original war was just a civil war if you think about it, history is written by the victors. You confederates are alright in my book, I'd happily form a coalition and fight along side you when the day comes, and trust that you have my back without shooting me in it.
