Because 'believing' something 'good' doesn't make you 'good'. DOING something 'good' makes you 'good'. Virtue Signalers on both the left and right are usually horrible selfish people that do nothing for noone else, even in their own family. Virtue-signaling is the most empty, vapid, narcissistic social queue you can give, and luckily people are catching on, and 'virtue-signaling' is becoming 'narcissist-signaling'.
