Ease your nationalistic spirits there, I know the feel.

In the Netherlands you have quite a big portion of the (lower class) population that Supports ¨Wilders¨. The Anti-Islamic Politician. I can understand this, those people live far away, we generally don´t know anything about their culture, etc.

So we visit Spain regulary. The people there surprised me a lot. Food, architecture and people all have flavours of Morroco. There are historical (medieval) cities where Muslims, Christians and Jews lived in Harmony together. Here I don´t see a ¨Wilders¨. And the people are in general less racist than in The Netherlands.

If you realise the Muslims/Chinese/- are not some kind shitskins, but significant people with their own history and culture, maybe you could respect them.
