You need a good memory for your lines, a good sense of timing, and high empathy to understand and portray your character. these traits are more common among whites than among blacks, and there is a larger body of whites to hire from. This means studios can be selective when hiring whites, and only choose the more attractive ones and they are more appealing to audiences.
