As a parent you can learn along with your child as well, and having the freedom to choose what they read and how you teach them subjects is a really fun pursuit. You will see just how fun it can be when you go out for the first time to buy your kids their textbooks, models, and activiities. Private institutions are a JOKE compared to the potential education offered by you, the parent.

Just be sure to still give them extra-curriculars and socialization time with other children so they don't develop into social outcasts.

As a CT anon I can confirm that when I went to High School that bullshit where they bus in minorities made most of the kids end up becoming racists. This shit didn't happen just in Bridgeport, the (((diversification))) is pretty widespread in towns that are mostly white.
