I don't even bother creating new threads anymore

Everytime I post a news article or have spent a lot of time thinking about something and want to create an interesting discussion it gets 0 replies and 404's within 5 minutes, because everyone else is spamming up the board with low effort bait.

/pol/ is too popular for the current board limits. Imo a thread should take about 30 mins to 404 with no replies, and a popular thread should stay around for at least a whole day before hitting the bump limit. That's how it ends up working out on most other boards.
