I decided to list what youtube alternatives there are and what do they have to offer. Features to consider:
>Online/ Desktop App/ Mobile
>Central hosting/Blockchain/Torrent/P2P
>Monetization
>Social features (comments, groups, ratings etc)
>Channels, lists
>Censorship: potential weak links
>Geographic availability
>Current status of the project

I'll be searching for alternatives, exploring what they have to offer and posting updates in case you give a fuck. Let me know which ones should I look into.

List I have so far -
Centralized Hosting:
>vid.me
>dailymotion
>liveleak
>vimeo
Experimental (beta):
>LBRY
>Decent.ch
>SingularDTV
>Alexandria.io
>Minds
>Popcorntime (?)

But the point here is about content creation. The youtube purge has started and there is a need for a place to drop red pills.
>>
>>136104510
honestly, i dont think its about red pills any more, i feel that we established a legit consumer base for right leaning content. it's just a matter of finding a good platform. right leaning content is hot. trump won. remember? we won. Jewtube is just doubling down on their current monopoly over content. they are doing this purposely to force right leaning content out. it's a huge error on their part, and this is the first pin to fall in their demise. its over for google and youtube. its over. this in the emancipation. we need to redirect the flow that is all, to a common place. the demand is there. the base is there.

There isn't and will not be an alternative to Youtube.
Whatever services that crop up will never have the reach and appeal, not a fraction. So it would be pointless for "creators" to make the move there.
Face it, they've got you by the balls.

I am going to continue making Hitler translations. I'm going to focus on speeches that talk about censorship, so when people see the video was delisted they will be immediately and permanently in my corner.

Censorship is perfect. I want as much as they can throw at us. We will adapt and we will win.
>>
youtube has the stats. they can see the trend staring them in their beady eyed faces. right is trending up, and has been for several years now. they are doing this as a natural reaction, they think that because they hold a monopoly that they can survive with just neutral content like boogie9383903 and all the other normies who are apolitical. they think they can survive and prosper by shunning the right. they wouldnt do this and make it so obvious if they werent. jewtube is now becoming the new MSM, this is their move. they must have a cut a deal with big donors, could be a large debt issuance. something is causing them to signal to investors or imo, creditors that they are all on board with a new consolidation in terms of content. google, facebook>>>>zuckerberg running >>>consolidation of left media and internet assets. attempt to control the young minds.

>>
youtube used to be about the creator, and community. back in 2007 i would say, that was when it was fairly new, but it was honestly a great place to meet people, and real people, it was about the community as much as it was about content. since then it has just been one long downward spiral into creating a handful of huge e- celebs and being a mouthpiece for larger agendas.

It's actually the funding and creative vision.

If you're an entrepreneur, nobody is going to fund your "X" killer, where "X" is an extraordinarily successful existing platform like Facebook, Google, Youtube, Twitter, etc.

The reasons are:

1) Some of these large existing platforms are not really successful in their own right (Twitter famously has an issue with actually making money). Others, like Google, are successful only for one major thing (search, which has built their entire company)
2) It's hard to motivate and lead a group of people to build something that has already been done, especially when whatever innovation you come up with could be copied in an instant by the big guys
3) Let's say you actually do manage to develop an X killer - it has miraculously attracted capital (despite most VCs explicitly saying they will not fund "X" killers), it makes money, has taken a large portion of X's market share, and your team is motivated, for whatever reason, to continue doing something that has already been done. Will you be able to resist getting bought out? Will your co-founders?
4) Eventually, you'll need to go public. If you've ever wondered why companies like Google, Facebook, etc. get so monstrously big, it's because they are able to effectively raise billions and billions of dollars by selling stock. So in order to compete for real, you'll need people, money, hardware, office space, etc. You'll need investors. They will want control. Congratulations, you are now Google.

Yup, people think Youtube is some sort of monolith but in 2008 and before that it was fucking shit.

People need to come to a consensus on a service and shill it 24/7.

The service will improve with its increased traffic.Youtubers need to start shilling a specific site in every video they make.

Vidme can fuck off, I made an account their and stopped visiting it, you can see the progressiveness oozing off the owners.

>There isn't and will not be an alternative to Youtube.
I kind of doubt that. Consider that it all depends on where the demand is. Lets say war breaks out (and it will). People are going to forget the makeup and comedy channels and go straight for the truth channels. Because hopefully by then many will have realized how badly they have been lied too and will not trust a main stream media source anymore. We're pretty much already there with this past election, a lot of people have pulled back the curtain. MSM no longer has the influence it once had. This will also happen with mainstream websites.

I don't think they can help themselves Anon. They truly believe they can go on fooling people forever with their control of the media. So that's not my fear. My fear is that they will shout it down or censor it so badly tat we might as well not even try. There need to be a big push for mesh networks so we can communicate off their grid. It's still their grid no matter what and that scares the heck outta me.

LBRY just started it's Open Beta and is a great crypto to invest/trade in. Crypto as a whole is going to replace everything with something new; it's the web 3.0, decentralized and unfuckable. are we going to get all of this by end of year? no. Most of youtube will be fine by end of 2017 and really going forward. A lot of the good shit on youtube wont be affected by the purge and those who are purged will go elsewhere. Any content creator who has half a brain knows to put their content on as many platforms as possible, so many of the big people on youtube will add to new platforms which allows them to switch over if needed.

What's happening is a tipping point, the old platforms that have been established for so long are not going to be used by everyone as there'll be strong alternatives. youtube missed the boat on streaming and might on crypto. We can't judge too hard yet but keep your eye's and ears open for what's happening next. The Crypto space is moving so quickly and is intensely competitive right now that we're going to see big changes real fast. By this time next year, which is not that much time, many of the current crypto projects will be out of beta and have active userbases. The value of crypto will be worth vastly more than it is now and early adopters will flourish. It won't be difficult to have people move to these new platforms, especially if content creators want to continue existing. We'll win this, have no doubts about that.

A few thoughts

- vid.me will remove videos by email request from third parties
- if you have to link youtube where it could potentially get a lot of views or spread further, hooktube it
- if it's feasible to scrape a list of youtube advertisers, should we do it and what would be do with it? Rank them by size and target the smallest 10%? That would add up to a lot of money.
- ask youtubers to get on patreon and disable advertising?

>>
I wish people would stop promoting Vid.me as a place we can migrate to.

They very clearly have a "NO HATE SPEECH" policy in their community rules and are therefore not a stable platform for creators.

At least here in the US, "hate speech" does not exist. The idea of a hate speech exception to our 1A has been struck down by the SCOTUS time and time again with great prejudice. So any company that puts forth this idea that they will not tolerate hate speech on their platform sides very squarely against the 1A and the very idea of free speech. Vid.me cannot be trusted.

>>
>>136101569
There is no replacement for YouTube. This is why we need to fight it. Even if we could find hosting for all of it, it would not have the exposure to the general public that YouTube has. The point of the content is to share the information, opinions and entertainment with those that need it not a reserve site for us to share amongst ourselves. We need to create a backlash at YouTube and find a way to either circumnavigate the algorithm or exploit it. This is an important gateway to the normies to hand out redpills.
>>
>>136106942
Investors would fund a new youtube type platform if you could get major players on board with the project such as pewdiepie, Philip de franco, h3h3, etc.

Kill youthoughtcrimetube & kill facefuck
the Data Scam age of social media is ending
this should be Trump's #1 tech and free speech priority

have a painless & seamless overnight replacement with a meshed together network of competing platforms so they're not lone data scam platforms hoarding all the data the users have put on over the last 8 years. you'd have meshtube, meshbook and meshtweet so that youtube & facebook for example would just be one company of 10 or so competing all interlocked together so that users see videos/posts and can interact with them even if the friends/creators are using another platform. end this data scam assault of the public square & ideas

all data: subscribers, views, comments, likes, photos, friends people have produced and typed up over the last 10 years (which they own, not the Data Scammers like they would have you believe) is on meshtube and meshbook the day this law is passed. for pewdiepie and his viewers, or your family and their friends using facebook nothing changes except they are no longer censored and facefuck is a $1billion company again like it should be. holding people's data hostage is not providing a hundred billion dollars of value to the world a group of 10 generation Z's could reproduce facefuck in a year it's not a special contribution to the world, what is valuable is the data (which the people typed up not facefuck). facefuck and ADLtube need a harsh wake up

end Zuckerfuck Data Scam Enterprises and ADL terror thoughtcrimetube
