I'm not from Mississippi, but I have been there twice. I'll take that state, especially the coastal region over ANYWHERE UP NORTH, or in California.

There was a 30-foot wall of debris and everything inland for miles was destroyed. Little aid mixed with incompetence probably left the coast a shithole, too. People that don't want to blame niggers as a major factor still can't deny that the delta region is by far the worst place in the country and also has the highest concentration of niggers.

I'm from Mississippi there are a couple of reasons and it goes deeper than blacks.

The timber and big agriculture companies run the entire economy and they have the state government by the balls. The state government almost never devolves infrastructure and doesn't fund public education.

Because of this most people just try to leave Mississippi as soon as they can. You just can't live here unless you're born into the aristocracy or are going to college.

It's poor because it's black, just like Alabama. When you correct for race they are both very close to whites in other states. Mississippi is 40% black. The irony is that when SJWs talk about how stupid the deep south is they are inadvertently criticising blacks for bringing down the average.
