In any case, the current race relation woes are a fairly new problem. It's gone the exact opposite direction with stuff like affirmative action and the like. Look at MLK's protests in the 60s. Orderly and composed, quite unlike the BLM trash you see today. There was a sense of self-reliance and self-respect that is absent today. It was only with the coming of a culture that glorified crime and violence and did away with family that things got to be where they were today.
All the black people I know who have gotten far in life had either a good upbringing in a solid family, and additionally have a good work ethic. A good work ethic and perseverance will take you far in America no matter what your background is, and yet despite this, these are not prized values in black culture of today. And therein lies the real problem. The sense of pride must return.
