Attempting a revolution would be very messy, and ultimately wouldn't work out too well. A likely turn of events would be that many of the people who were for trump wouldn't be for revolution, and let's say even if about 80% were that'd still be around only half the population of The US.

The only hope a second US Civil War could have is is all of the military somehow managed to switch sides to The Trumpers and ended out stealing a bunch of military equipment from the government and helping the coup, which isn't very likely because state loyalty is hardly a thing anymore, as compared to the early civil war where people were fighting for their state and their rights that they believes were being taken away RIGHT THEN, not many years into the future.

Either way, if it did happen, and if the coup did succeed, the best we could hope for is some kind of authoritarian state that would fuck the poor, would not be fascist, and would not be the top world power by the end of a long resource draining war.

Worst case scenario would be that after the coup, the country splits up into even more independent nations as states break away from the new not-actually-a-union.
