I keep a pretty privet life, im civil and nice to people at work so they probably think im a normal guy despite being a racist degenerate by /pol/ standards. I obviously have some good friends but since we all work we just keep in touch on Facebook and get together a couple times of year and of course New year's and Christmas. I know a lot of people that I'd have to say hi if I bumped in to them but I'd never chat to them otherwise. Im pretty sociable so going out for a drink on my own and chatting up women or making friends for the night is very easy if you know the right kinda places.

I would definitely class myself as a loner though, I like to think of myself as a "gray man" like the SAS teach you to be when im at work or out and about doing things, then when im out with people who will only know me one night I can be my true degenerate self

I just broke up with a girl, and tried to talk to people I knew online.
It's funny, because people tell you to do things your own way, and everything, but the minute you actually do, they sometimes cast you out.
Everyone in my friend group online sees me as a child, but in real life, at my job and in my family and various other places, people see me as older than I actually am.
Social media brings out the worst in people, because a lot of people are just showing off the best versions of themselves.

It's been about two weeks since I've seen my friends, or more than a month in some cases.

It's been odd, I've always been someone that hangs out 3 or so times a week, but I've found it easy to reel that back to what I'm currently at.

Being alone has the obvious bad outcomes, like NEETs. That's one extreme that we all have seen in other people. Oversimplification, thinking of it negatively will turn the experience negative. I think that's true, though loneliness can easily feel like a bad thing no matter what.

Being a loner is okay. Stagnation is not. Be very careful around internet and vidya addictions. You should still pursue discipline, cleanliness, and cultivation. Read books, especially nonfiction. Make sure your room and body are clean. Continue to develop skills and your career, have goals and remind yourself of them.
I work with the loner life a lot, and the only time it's a problem is when I'm stuck in a sort of do nothing rut.

I always found it odd that I myself really enjoy solitude yet only look at it as a problem when other people discover about it.
