Let's start this off by saying that unlike 99.5% of /pol/ users, I have read a lot of books and a decent chunk of those books were books on national socialism, its philosophical views, its policies and its premises.
Hitler's Zweites Buch, Nazi-Sozi, Gruesome Harvest, The Programme, Myth of the 20th Century - you name it and I've probably read it already and although my memory might fail me on details, I still retain the gist of it.
So when I say that I mostly support this ideology I'm not telling lies, I'm an actual national socialist and not just some contrarian kid shitposting on /pol/. Also keep in mind that what I'm about to say is simplified for the sake of today's short attention span among the young.
Now, the main problem with national socialism in modern days is the public image it has. This should be of no surprise to any of you, from Mengele's experiments to the many pictures of starving inmates, the emotional propaganda built over the decades against the ideology is far too great to break at this point.
Another problem lies in its eugenic policies, for they conclude that men are not equal and that human life can be given an objective value and, therefore, some lives are disposable. No population alive today will ever agree with such ideas, for they mean the killing of the defective, abortion, selective breeding, mass deportation and genetically modified humans - all for the sake of creating a stronger race and a stronger nation.

The economical policies of national socialism are also unfit for today's world, no economy today can survive without being part of the modern banking system, the stock market and its usury. In this regard the fight is truly hopeless, a nation that enforces national socialist economical policies will immediately find itself cut off from international trades with the 1st world, becoming poor in the process and quickly losing any support for a national socialist state.
A national socialist state also implies losing most if not all major corporations, since those are inherently stuck to the modern banking system and national socialist policies are really bad for such business model.
Finally, assuming a miracle happens and a powerful nation from the 1st world does suffer a national socialist revolution it'll immediately cause war against the rest of the 1st world. The political enemies of the new state who are left alive will surely beg for international intervention by using all conceivable emotional appeals.
The banking system will also immediately move big politicians against this new state and under the premise of liberation from evil nazis, war will be declared.
tl;dr even if you change the economical policies the entire ideology is still doomed to fail internationally, find some other way to preserve the white race and no, civic nationalism is not the way to do it. Civic nationalism is just thinly veiled multiculturalism because it puts the idea of a mongrelized country above your race(nation) and yourself. If you don't want to become an arab or mexican Brazil, find or create another ideology to do the job.
