What is the best term for the kind of person who has made absolutely nothing interesting of themselves, yet still does just enough to not live at his parent's house, while just working some mundane blue collar job while smoking/drinking and living paycheck to paycheck?

You know, the kind of guy who is always late, forgets plans, always needs you to "cover" him, and can't wake up before 11 AM?

I want to know, because these people are the actual cancer who need to be purged from society.
