This must be a slide thread. If you don't want to own a gun, don't buy one. If you don't want others to own a gun, change the Constitution. Until then, it's becoming a pointless, whiny discussion

I don't take anything seriously from a man who looks about to cry on camera. It makes sense why a pussy like him wouldn't like guns, because he's never held one.

This guy is super patronising.

I think I've figured out why cosmopolitan liberals tend to oppose gun control. They have a myopic view of the world based on their experience in the city.
In the city, you
>have police just a couple minutes away
>have safety in numbers
>high populations increase the chances you're around a crazy person
>you come into contact with more strangers in the city, i.e. it's harder to vet people yourself
while in the country,
>police are several minutes away
>you have no safety in numbers
>low population density means you probably know all your neighbors' mental health
All of these make it optimal to take self-defense into your own hands in the country, but optimal by a much smaller margin in the city.
Gun control is almost defensible in certain cities, but these people believe their personal experiences generalize to rural populations, which is false.
Predictably, because cities are more populous than the countryside, they have more votes and more political leverage than the countryside. Thus, citydwellers are able to legislate their values onto populations with different interests.
