I work in IT and am fucked harder than everyone else. I have to compete with a never-ending supply of pajeets that have flooded in, willing to get paid minimum wage and live in squalor doing my job just to get their foot in the door of the country. I have to deal with reduced wages, reduced bargaining power, reduced job security.

It's also really hard for graduates to get work because companies no longer want to train up or educate new staff. They would rather just import someone who has the skills straight out of the box even if it means it'll be a bit harder communicating with them.

I should have just done a modest trade and get paid a lot better than I am currently, without being in uni debt. The blue-collar trades usually have strong unions that help them out but I'm in real trouble. I did not however forsee this torrent of migration back in 2011.

Everyone working in IT in USA should be concerned about their jobs.
