Well, if you still want it, my advice is (of course) don't do anything inappropriate. If you don't think you have the self control to set boundaries and shut her down if she doesn't respect them, you should also probably avoid being alone with her if you can as well.

That said, and being the practical solution, there's no absolute rule saying you can't be a friend and supporter to her or even a mentor. Again, just make sure that there are boundaries.

Heck, now that I think of it it's possible that she meant something completely innocent when she talked with you, more relieved that the world outside her family wasn't completely filled with crazies than a come on.
