Be in Iraq. I'm doing guard duty which is 12 hours of sitting in a hot ass tower doing nothing. There was an Iraqi kid we called Ben. You could tell learned all of his English from the Americans because of how fluently he cussed. Ben would take our money, go to town and buy us things.
Anyway, I give Ben $5 and send him to get me a falafel. He brings it back and I eat it. About 20 minutes later I start getting bubble-guts. I call SOG over to relieve me of my post. SOG shows up and I take off doing the ass-clench shuffle. I make it to the shit trailer and I'm struggling with my gear. I get my belt undone and lost it.
Shit was everywhere. Down both of my legs to my ankles. I took the wettest and most painful shit of my life then. When I finished, I tried to clean up the literal shitstorm I had created. It wasn't happening. I decided to throw the trash bag over the door as a sign to stay out and shamefully walked back towards my tower. I yelled for SOG. He peeks out the tower and shouts, "WHAT?" I point to my ass and yell, "I DIDN'T MAKE IT!" He immediately tells me to go change.
So I go back to the bay and everyone is asleep. That really comforted me because no one needed to know about this. Then I saw SGT McNig. He asked me, "Anon? What da fuck is you doin' here. Yous supposed ta be on guard." I tell him, "Nothing to worry about, SGT. SOG is already tracking." He seems to brush it off, so I turn to walk away. Then I hear, "YOU SHIT ON YOSELF!" I try to get him to calm down, but it wasn't working. He put me in parade rest while he went to get his camera. He made me do stupid poses in my shit-covered pants.
He got his fill, I cleaned up and the day went on. The next day we began patrol cycle. When coming from guard to patrol, we get a power point briefing on what has been happening. The first three slides were me in my shitty pants. I got called dysentery Gary for the next two months.

In 2007 I was deployed to the worst fucking litter box in history. Fucking Iraq. We were doing a patrol and we usually tossed the candy and sweets from our MREs to the kids whenever we were at a stop.
But let me tell you why we fucking stopped.
One day a buddy of mine was doing the usual shit and a kid wandered up asking for candy. Well as he stuck his hand up, fist closed, I noticed in his hand was something that had wires running out and down. Turns out it was an IED trigger. It was set so that if the little shitskin opened his palm, the bomb would detonate. We'd been told to keep an eye out for this. But only in adults. We didn't think little fucking Hadji kids would be used.
Unfortunately, the kid was aware that he had to do this, and the only way to stop it was to put a bullet in him.
When I say kid, keep in mind I'm talking like 12-14, not much older than that and not much younger either.

Ever since that day, I've despised sand niggers.
I used to fucking justify to myself that they were just pawns. But there ain't nothing pawn like in using a kid to kill fucking GIs.

So whenever someone says we need to let the poor innocent mid easterners in, I tend to laugh in their faces and call them delusional pricks with a death wish.
