So what are some ways we could fund government without taxation? How do we make money? I'm well aware that the Fed should be abolished. Can you give historical examples, or is taxation sometimes necessary?

It's actually just tax and nationalised industries, if you pick the latter you're a future Venezuela. Also, piracy if you're Elizabeth the first and dont mind "mercantilism" or national capitalism.

I think the ideal position is: We except there's evil horseshit in this world and it's always going to be there, but you try to keep it to a minimum. Same with taxes, keep them low, simple to understand and as discreet as possible. I really like the idea of 2 taxes, a VAT tax on purchases and a tax on imports. It's much harder to avoid paying tax when you automatically pay it at the location you buy the item, and a tax on imports allows you to compete better with cheap labor overseas.
