Define mistake?

As in, a monument to man's hubris.

Hi Peggy.

Phoenix is the best place in the US for local black and death metal shows, this I can attest to.
>>
>>135969231
I went to a small town near Flagstaff, AZ a few weeks ago.
Northern AZ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Southern AZ

i should probably keep this a secret cause I think few realize northern Arizona has a Mediterranean climate like much of California
>>
>>135969231
Phoenix is very comfy. Only retards who've never been there disagree
>>
Phoenix is one of the only relatively based cities in the country
>>
>>135969231
Most cities in the southwest were mistakes. Few have access to reliable fresh water, and they are all abysmally hot. Phoenix is probably the best example, but Las Vegas and Santa Fe are close

Tucson here

Phoenix's location / geography.. makes no sense why the area got so huge

Phoenix is a forced city
>>
>>135970520
It's called "spacious". Unfortunately, it's nothing but cookie cutter strip malls and desert. It's nice how spaced out it is though. Even at my $200 a month RV park, I had a decent size yard.
>>
>>135971020
it's a massive flat dirt patch in the middle of nowhere with mountains in the far distance and little source of water in the local area

I also hope Tucson doesn't turn into another Portland like people have been saying the last few years.
>>
>>135972126
did you read my comment? it had water until the population boom. in 1950 phoenix only had 106,818 people. arizona in total only 749,857. it was several farming communities with a lot of the land used as farm land. the canals were built to direct the water to the farms. maricopa county which has the entire metro area in it is now 4 and half million. there was water when it was settled but not enough to sustain a large city. people could live there but not the shit ton that now do.

Tucson mayor is a Rothschild
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Rothschild
On February 16, 2012, Jonathan Rothschild wrecked his city vehicle, a 2008 Toyota Prius, when he collided into a passenger truck. Rothschild stated that he "looked down briefly to grab a notebook on the seat next to him and didn’t see the passenger truck in front of him." No citations were issued.

non desert fags just don't understand. When you are in 120F in the shade, and every doorknob is 200F+, and the metal buttons on your shirt can give you second degree burns if you're in the sun for 5 minutes, and even in the dead of night it doesn't go below 100F, and the wind literally hurts and sucks the moisture off your eyes and mouth and sinus cavity like a convection oven, you would BEG for 100% humidity if it meant the temp would only be 105F. Summers in this desert were not meant for Christian bodies. Even the savage Indians didn't live in this blight.

vegasfag here
Las Vegas is one of the few cities in the US where working class people can earn a living wage and afford a decent apartment and/or home.
Homes and apartment complexes are CONSTANTLY being built for the express purpose of keeping rents low and homes affordable. Casinos need service workers and this requires halfway decent working class people. This is how Las Vegas is different.
You also get a 24 hour international airport 20 minutes from anywhere in the city, and comparatively no traffic (outside the strip)

The desert is one of the most beautiful things you can imagine, but it's not for everyone. Just miles and miles of nothingness, open air so wide and expensive. You feel like you're on a different planet. There's a whole culture, a whole sub genre of rock dedicated to playing shows with generators in the middle of the desert. It's surreal, it's also very fucking trippy. But like I said it's not for everyone, if you like being surrounded by trees for instance

The real question here is why are U.S cities so full of sub-humans and degenerates?
I can't walk three fucking steps in New York without seeing black faces.
I don't want to see black faces.

Dry heat is more worse once it gets past 110°. Right now its monsoon so the temperatures are lower and its more humid, which feels better on the skin even if it is hot.

Have you ever lived in an area that has consistently high humidity and 85-100 degree temps?
Since moving to AZ, I'll take 105 and dry over 85 and humid any day

The desert is an arid fucking wasteland of stale air, stifling heat, bonechilling cold and absolutely fuck-all to do, eat or drink.

The desert is not a place human beans should live in, and as such, Arizona and all the states like it shouldn't fucking exist.

Also, does anybody know anything about Boise ID?

I feel like the architecture is the main problem there. It's a fucking desert, why are the houses build an laid out like it's not? Where is the shading that would reflect heat away instead of making this all a frying pan?

I guess it's something about the unfamiliarity with it. I used to live near a forest preserve in Missouri and it was beautiful for a while but you get bored of it and the lakes and hills. Desert is like some mystical experience for me every time I visit one
>>
>>135984812
>a fun desert adventure where you can hike mountains and shit
That's actually pretty accurate. We also have some of the clearest day and night skies. When you get tired of the heat and want to escape for a while, it's not a very far drive to reach a climate that's in line with Canada (high up in the mountains). There are a lot of beautiful areas in AZ.

Europe's public spaces are better, and the cities are prettier. Maybe it's because I grew up here but there's something nice about being able to cross a clear line from developed land to the vast desert. The air temperature drops 30-40F from what it was during the day, sometimes more. If you're far enough away from the city you can see so many stars.

I mean, if you're going to make that point, the 48th state to join the union shouldn't really be where you are pointing. We do have some rad adobe style architecture out here but I think it came from aboriginal Americans and Mexico.

Right. The B-52 crews in Vietnam called themselves the coconut knockers. I was not disputing the fact that bombing cities will destroy them. It was an irrelevant side-fact.
