What is /pol/´s take on the ancient Latin American civilizations (namely Incas, Mayans, and Aztecs)
Do they get a pass?

They were pretty good. Worth respecting and probably would have done fine in modernity if they had trade with europe instead of being conquered.,

In my opinion those populations are basically East Asians and can be pretty competent workers as long as they're not mixed with blacks

Pacal for mayans and Quetzalcoatl for aztecks. /pol/ should remember that original aztecks, the ones that came from Aztlan used to adore a white, tall, blue eyed god before they degenerated into do sacrifices to Huitzilopochtli

not all were killed, the Inca had always been a tiny minority, a nobility caste that ruled over the masses that lived throughout the Andes. Several chose to join the Spanish and continued to live comfortable lives.
>>
>>135938914

They built all this shit without the wheel. Their calendars were really advanced. They absolutely get a pass.

I think the IQs of Latins would be much higher if disease and war didn't decimate 90% of the population. A lot of nobility was killed off by the Spanish and Portuguese.

Actually they knew the wheel, but the terrain wasnt fit for carts, was quicker to use "macehuales" for transportation, also the main site of the azteck empire was full of rivers and lakes, so the main transportation were little boats

They achieved civilization comparable to that of the Bronze Age in the East Mediterranean during the 1500's. Much later than civilization from the Middle East or Yellow river but still impressive nonetheless. Also, Europe learned farming and civilization from the Middle East. If they never made contact for some reason (obviously unlikely, this is hypothetical), what isn't to say that Europeans wouldn't have started these practices independently? Ancient Americans proved their selves in this regard but Europeans didn't.

yeah that's pretty retarded actually. The term pre-Columbian is widely known.
>>
>>135934985

There's no evidence that those civilisations built any of that. At the most, they attempted to rebuild some small areas and failed.

The dates associated with them alone do not support the amount of time it would have taken them - with the technology we belive they had - to accomplish the effort. Similarly, evidence of that effort is also not there. Which is comical considering that in some case the date attributed to them are a mere 500 to 700 years ago.
>>
>>135941958
I would add that this "delay" in developing civilization is probably due to the vast land with the most suitable habitable zones isolated from each other. It took some time from different tribes to merge and go into civilization mode.
>>
>>135942658
Who built them then?

>>
>>135942758

A culture yet to be identified. The biggest problem facing archaeology today - but especially in the Americas - is that the date models they refuse to deviate from have been proven to be wrong by multiple geological dating methods.

Modern archaeology doesn't want to admit that they're wrong because it would involve essentially rewriting history. It will happen, though. Finds like Goebekli Tepe (spelled wrong but you know what I mean) is the beginning of the end for them. Their dating models are wrong and they know it.

But, no, I don't think it was aliens. I do think that modern man has been around a hell if lot longer than anyone currently believes.
>>
>>135943864
I stand corrected. OK, they get a pass.
>>
>>135944095
Graham Hancock's books are a hell of a read. There's a lot of borderline /x/ shit but it's fun, and there's good information in there too.
>>
>>135944095
>I do think that modern man has been around a hell if lot longer than anyone currently believes.

According to standard models anatomically modern people are found in the fossil record from at least 150,000 years ago, and behavioral modernity has been around for about 50,000 years. Do you mean longer than that, or are you just pointing out that most people don't know humanity goes back that far?
>>
>>135943572
The Aztecs had complex drawings and at least the beginnings of writing, but the Spanish torched them all so we'll never know the contents.
>>
>>135944754

>>
>>135945134
It already is. The locals still kill and capture each other at ludicrous rates. Their "Spanish" is heavily mixed with Nahuatl (and English lol). Their "Catholicism" is still half native death cult.
>>
>>135944754

No, I'm trying say (and badly, I know) that the ideas around what civilisations "were" at a given point in the past are being proven wrong.

Going back to Goebekli Tepe (or however it's spelled), modern archaeology would have us believe that those people were literally just hunter gatherers with rudimentary religious foundations. Clearly that is incorrect.

The size of some of stone megaliths used at some of these sites defies our capability today. Yet we're made to believe that a bunch of 4'5" indians magically moved them from a quarry on the other side of mountain, through a valley, and up to the top of another mountain. Yet their own stories say that they did not build them.

I personally believe that there were highly advanced societies around thousands of years earlier than what's accepted and taught as canon today.

this, white people have been all around the globe in millennia past. proto humans just took that shit over after the last ice age.

lots of races nowadays are mixes between proto-humans and whitey. asian, arab, indian and now the gay mulato.

now look at the isolated cases (abos, natives) or blacks. they are as far removed from whites as can be. it's all there for the eye to see

Considering that the remains of stonework all match eachother and that there's not a hell of a lot. I'd wager it's been around since the ice age in it's modern form. That's one cycle before us.

Also the idea that white people evolved from monkeys is insane and people know it. I'd advice you to look into that. Aliens might not sound as ludicrous as you once thought.

I think they would have been better off if they had a connection with east asia. The new technology like the wheel and metallurgy would have let them develop more advanced societies.
The old world was constantly spreading new technologies from all over. I guess it never reached Africa.
>>
>>135945623
Culture moves much easier than people, this was especially true before transport was refined like was 10,000 years ago. Most Europeans were people who had been there long before Neolithic revolution in the fertile crescent who simply took up farming and civilization when they came into contact with people from the east. Yes if you go far enough back, those Europeans' ancestors did come from the east but this is far enough back that they much different ethnically. It's not the case that after the Neolithic revolution, all people in Europe were just replaced by people from the Levant

Almost anything is possible but I think we'd need an actual, confirmed alien happening *today* before it would ever be more than a fanciful possibility at best.

>>
>>135947637

It's actually hilariously funny how badly the alien knowledge is suppressed. Also you have already accepted that there probably was a more advanced civilization on earth before us.

That would put the civilizations end around the ice age. Which meant they covered less of a landmass. Had a lower population probably. And now consider that after some apocalyptic event all wiped them out people started to gods all around the world that sort of resemble each other. Why is that?

The story is always the same, half human half something gods from the sky.
>>
>>135947642

Everything you think you know about native latin america was written by the conqueror under Jose de Acosta

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%A9_de_Acosta

the truth is they were wiped out by Romans long ago chasing phoenician trade routes and were ruled by a class of Atlantean survivors who bred with locals and maintained a pure class who were killed off in later conquests,

the fucked up part is that the pyramids all over the world are connected and modern historic paradigm wants the slave class( you) to think that these cultures developed separately and isolated from one another.

The inca couldnt even build as good as the people who came before and it shows in rubbble on top of solid quarried stones weighing several tons.

there is an energy artifact that has been taken away from us so we rely on the human meat grinder system of the Kali Yuga

it's ancient not from outer space dude.

high energy elements labeled radioactive and banned by the Roman government we inherit are what they took away.

Rome was too big to fail, and became something else.

King George was a prince elector of the HRE
and inherited rights and priveledges as prince of the United states, and note that later the ratifying documents were burned by the British in 1812.

Were living in a Roman Provence

The Mayans of course had a written language - the church Spaniards "destroyed" as much of it as possible (I think they stole it all and have it in Europe somewhere). The Incas had numerous communications tools, quipo in particular is undeciphered and was at the minimum an accounting system, but shows suggestions that it evolved beyond that. Ancient Americans were no joke and deserve respect.

because if humans knew where they came from they would actually have some pride, some decency and some ambition. they wouldn't slave away like drones like they do now.

imagine what it would do to people when they learned that there was a greater civilization. that it was destroyed. that there were beings from outer space. that they were genetically engineered.

people would start asking why and the moment that happens everyone wakes up and 2 groups end up dead.

personally I believe in lost tech or Giants over aliens.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patagon

consider how we lost greek fire and roman glassmaking, and all the archimedes inventions.
not to mention teslas works were destroyed systematically in favor of power houses funded by the elite over free energy.

we also find evidence that ancient welsh is closely related to Etruscan even though it labeled unreadable.

I feel like there is a conspiracy to keep te human population ignorant of vibration energies and zero point.

The evidence we have I don't believe can be pushed that far. Advanced human civilization perhaps greater then our own is a very real possibility. I don't know about aliens but you are for the most part correct. Not only did the Jews kill Christ but they stole something that is essential to humanity from the great pyramid and deserve all the scorn they receive.

Who else is going to be killed besides the jew?

the Incans moved around so much to avoid mother nature's rath that by the time the spaniards arrived to the southern americas, the majority of them were already dead -- so killing the rest wasn't hard.
Mayans were the oldest, smartest, most robust, and the true "egyptian -tier" ancients of latin america as they were the ones who taught the aztecs the secrets of their astronomical and engineering feets -- aztecs later passed down that knowledge to the incans through the tiwanaku but all of this was laid to waste in the 15th century when Spain decided they'd had enough trying to trade with the Incan savages

Neat stuff in here. I always thought that early humans were much more organized and advanced than we give them credit for. One of my favorite pet theories is that many of the very early humans coming out of Africa settled down in what is now the Black Sea. During the Ice age and some time after, it would have been a land locked freshwater lake, with very fertile land around. Perfect place to stop and settle, but then the sea levels rose and the Mediterranean flooded into the valley and created the Black Sea, and this is where I think many of the flood myths across different cultures comes from. The early settlers scattered and moved on to Europe and all of Asia.

Peterson has the right idea in following stories to glean information about ourselves and our history. Many stories that are common across vastly different cultures and people today are incredibly ancient.

dude, idk man...

I kinda get the info as t comes and sift through it.

i got started looking into pyramids/ pyramid code documentary and conspiracy freemason theories which lead me to graham hancock and robert buval.

from there newearthchannel and megaliths.org

after that it's been sifting through it all over months and found the commonalities in biblical flood myth and gilgmesh

you go deeper you realize its all a story of duality, and the "apocalypse of adam" explains the sons of cain and adams second son Seth and the holy mountain/cave near Eden (Meru).

from there you get into post flood, Nimrod and babylonian mysteries which through pergamon gave its god power to Caesar.

the history we have is from romans who burned the library of Alexandria.

The oldest gold stash in the world(4200-4600bc) was found at Varna in Bulgaria. They actually used the 1.618 perfect ratio just like the Greeks and Romans.

http://www.ancient-origins.net/ancient-places-europe/varna-man-and-wealthiest-grave-5th-millennium-bc-002798

In the 1970s, archaeologists in Bulgaria stumbled upon a vast Copper Age necropolis from the 5 th millennium BC containing the oldest golden artifacts ever discovered near the modern-day city of Varna. But it was not until they reached grave 43 that they realized the real significance of the finding. Inside burial 43 were the remains of a high status male and unfathomable riches – more gold was found within this burial than in the entire rest of the world in that period.

Most people have heard of the great civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Indus Valley, which are all noted for being the earliest known civilizations to feature urbanization, organized administration, and cultural innovation. But few have heard of the mysterious civilization that emerged on the shores of lakes of the Black Sea some 7,000 years ago in Bulgaria.

The Varna culture, as it has come to be known, was not a small and inconsequential society that emerged in a little corner of Bulgaria and disappeared quickly into the pages of history. Rather, it was an amazingly advanced civilization, more ancient than the empires of Mesopotamia and Egypt, and the first known culture to craft golden artifacts. Varna is also now home to the largest known prehistoric necropolis in south-eastern Europe, which reflects a richness in cultural practices, complex funerary rites, an ancient belief system, and the capacity to produce exquisite and expertly-crafted goods. It has come to be known as the cradle of civilization in Europe.

I'm starting to wonder if there isn't a genetic memory or propensity for certain knowledge. Like a gut feeling but deeper. Something that draws certain individuals to certain conclusions.

Think of the universe as an entity and us being a part of that. We are the universe observing itself. Without organisms or artificial organisms the universe might aswell not exist.

Something tells me the human mind is perfectly attuned to 'life hack' the secrets and knowledge of the universe. Imagine another universe, we wouldn't be able to grasp it. But this one where we live, we are made from it. And if you listen to yourself without doubt then you can read it.

Everything is connected. As above so bellow. The laws of nature. (((they))) want you to forget.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86grrGoCqXQ

By the end of the fifth millennium BC, the once strong and powerful Varna culture began to disintegrate. It has been hypothesized that the downfall of the Varna was the result of a combination of factors including climate change, which turned large areas of arable land into marshes and swamps, as well as the incursion of horse-riding warriors from the steppes.

Although the Varna civilization did not leave any direct descendants, the members of this ancient culture did leave behind many lasting legacies and set the stage for the emergence of subsequent civilizations throughout Europe. Their skills in metallurgy were unprecedented in Europe and indeed throughout the world, and their society demonstrated many features of a highly advanced and developed civilization. They also developed the societal structure of a centralized authority – a person or institution to monitor and ensure the proper functioning of the society. All the fundamental principles of modern society had been found – a model of civilization that we still follow to this day.

I've been into this stuff the past year or so reading Graham Hancock and some others. I'm absolutely convinced now in a high civilization during the ice age.

I think the ones they called gods were another species of human with the elongated skulls and that they're extinct now. Evidence from Oaraxas suggests they survived until about a thousand years ago I think.

It's interesting that they were builders and engineers because the part if the brain that would have been larger is concerned with math and spatial relationships.

I don't think there is is one.

>It is highly unlikely that any of the stones in Puma Punku were cut using ancient stone-cutting techniques, at least not those that we are aware of.

>The stones in Puma Punku are made up of granite and diorite, and the only stone that is harder that those two, is the diamond. If the people who built this place cut these stones using stone cutting techniques, then they would had to have used diamond tools.

>If they didn't use diamonds to cut these stones, then what did they use?

>Not only were these stones really hard to cut, but they are also extremely heavy. One of these stone ruins weighs in at about 800 tons! These are big stones, and they are really heavy. The nearest quarry is at least 10 miles away from the site of the ruins. How in the world did these people move these blocks that weighed many tons, and how were they able to form a structure with them?

>With the technology that we currently have today, it would be extremely difficult to recreate the site of these ruins, if possible at all. If we can't do it, then how did these ancient people accomplish this task? This could have taken place anywhere from 500 b.c. all the way back to the Ice Age.

Also interesting is the recurring motif of the snake vs the stork or some other similar bird. This recurs from the flood myths right in up through Egypt and Greece and the stork into modern times.

The interesting thing about the birds is that they always choose a monogamous bird like the stork or the ibis. Even they knew that monogamous families were essential for a civilization. Examples are the Egyptian god Thoth, Greek myths of the storks vs pygmies and a legend of Moses defeating Ethiopia by driving away snakes using a flock of ibis.

They didn't really have the conditions or mobility anon, the truth is this is pretty much what happened in Europe and Asia, people only built civilizations because civilization reached them, but civilizations from mesoamerica/cahokia/Andes had no animals amd shitty terrain, there was never much benefit to really settling outside of their civilizations

Yes, it is impressive to see this, I did not expect all this from the cultures of my country, unfortunately Peru has more "important" problems to fix and financing the reconstruction and research of our cultures is small and do not give the importance they deserve

At present, as I said, there are 250 "huacas" of which only less than 10 have been dug and if they do not hurry, the cultivation of "sugar cane" causes the water level to increase and all the tombs and basements that Will collapse or disappear

Sorry for my english
