Ok so we all know that Hitler's retarded cousin, Kim, has had his panties up in a bunch lately and is threatening us with nukes and testing a metric fuck ton of ICBMs lately. Im scared.
I live in Rochester, NY, so I doubt I would see any mushroom clouds since im not that close to any important targest, say Manhattan for example. Either way, I want this thread to teach /pol/ what we all should do in the event that we get launched into nuclear war
Here is my current situation:
>the only people in my house are me, my 57 year old mum and my 50 year old dad
>two floor house w/ an attic and a musty ass basement
>two cats and a birb as pets
>average amount of non-perishable food items on hand; <2 weeks worth
>case of water in basement and in car
>two 4WD cars that have seen better days and one is on it's last legs
>being a hunting family, i know we have two compound bows in our house but I don't know wether or not we have our boomstick/ muzzle loader in our house
>i have ALOT of survival gear since im an ex Boyscout, ranging from knives to hatchets, backpacks to duffle bags, water filters to tablets, so on and so forth

the residential areas will be raided first when the bombs drop. if you have anything that has 4-wheel drive, load up what you need and drive far into the wilderness with whatever you need to survive. let go of your worldly ties with family and pets, because one minute can make the difference between strength in numbers and solitude. since you're the youngest, you will hunt, others will prepare food and build structures. avoid other people. Do what this anon said so you can die quicker from fallout that will come in the next days due to wind.
You need to absolutely stay isolated from any external source at least 10 meters isolated all around for around 2 - 3 weeks depending on the size of the nuclear bomb detonated, but if one goes off in USA hundreds more will follow all around the world - so there's literally no chance for you to survive that world unless you live in a huge bunker prepared to be self-sustaining for few decades.
