Because most of Tennessee isn't that black and blacks mostly self-segregate. In Tennessee the huge majority of our blacks live in one single county. On top of this the black population at most is only capable of staying stable and in some areas is actually declining. Most importantly however for myself and for many others this is our land and our home that our ancestors took and built with their own hands. They're moving from the inner city to the aging inner suburbs, bringing their Section 8 vouchers and their issues with them.
