what does IQ actually measure? does it measure the speed at which your brain handles situations logically or how fast you process information? it is a representation of how much your brain can store or something else entirely, like your capacity for WANTING to learn more and understand the bigger picture? What separates someone with 145 IQ clinically tested like me vs some 90 IQ mongoloid in the same testing environment?

General intelligence.
Basically your ability to solve things in a small amount of time. It's far from being as objective as anything you asked.
>clinically tested

I was clinically tested, valedictorian through secondary school and top 2% at brown. I don't understand what you mean by real /pol/, i've only been hovering around this board for a year

>>can't google "IQ" and read articles on psychometrics

Patten recognition mostly. IQ tests will soon become a thing of the past there are at least 3 distinct components of intelligence. So you could not give a single, unified score for all of them

it's your capacity to 'see' patterns.
Everytime you 'notice something' while others don't is a time where your higher iq allows you so see something that's beyond others.
