It's simple. WL by its very nature (supporting whistleblowers and supporting freedom of information) has made many powerful enemies. The same enemies which have forced Assange into a life of exile for the rest of his life. These people likely have many below them who peruse, study and analyze every last bit of released information WL puts out to find that damning inconsistency so they can finally bring down WL and punish Assange.

It's also the reason WL takes so long to release things and even then in smale r increments - every little bit of data has to be picked through with a fine tooth comb to avoid that catastrophe.

So in technicality, yes, WL could make a mistake, but the reality is they haven't yet because if they had, we would never hear the end of it. (Especially with WL being a key lynch pin to this entire story, you knock it out, you basically dismantle any argument against muh Russian collusion)
