I dunno man, The cube is just as likely a symbol for our bodies that we use as vehicles in this life of 3 dimensional perception. We are oriented to time and space in relation to the cube as in, we have N,S,E,W above and below and all directions in space are combinations or those. The being trapped inside is you. You are trapped inside your body for this lifetime. Saturn is simply a symbol for the idea that whatever takes on life by inhabiting a body is also doomed to death that is inescapable and we all need to reconcile ourselves with that as we navigate the world.

That's my understanding of these things. I don't see that the sinister slant you are putting on it is any more or less valid than other interperetations used by people who use these symbols to relate themselves to metaphysical concepts.
