That's unironically not true. There's a metric tone worth of Bronze Age Phoenician (ie. Lebanese, ie. Semitic) DNA in Greece, Sicily and S. Italy. Heck, even today there are Maronites (christian descendants of Phoenicians) living in Cyprus. And Maronites/Phoenicians in the Middle Ages spoke Greek and considered themselves Byzantines/Romans.

There's pretty much nothing wrong about this. Civilization boomed in the Mediterranean, and it's not entirely Indo-European. So, it's natural that in the same way the Scandinavians may have bred with Uralics in their early stages, or the Slavs with Turkic tribes and Scythians at some point, we happen to have bred with Levantine peoples.
