Korwin-Mikke is the singular reason Polish politics is shit. His modus operandi for over 20 years has been to hover just below the 5% threshold needed to get to the Parliament, so his party gets state funding, but not enough to actually get a seat. (Yes, you read this right. The god of the alt-right is living on state money. )

Now this is a problem because it precludes creation of an actual right-conservative party, so people with conservative leanings end up voting for PiS socialists.
