I'm not sure how it works exactly, or how it's even related, but I heard some guy randomly say that every time he launches a missile, stocks that he has invested in goes up and he profits somehow.
I have no idea if that theory holds water or how it even would, I just heard it in passing. But it has always made me think...

Literally 'I'm an insecure manchild' tier. Kim threatens the heeb pets because it's the best type of propaganda. Kim looks like he's standing up to the Americans and reaffirms to his people he's the based protector of the land created by his heavenly grandfather. Everything he does - rocket launches, threats, etc - all exist to support that. He knows he can make these threats and literally get away with it because China will never ever allow western countries to launch a war there which will be at their expense both politically and economically. The coal sanctions and such weren't in support of western condemnation- they were saying 'can you please chill the fuck out and not ruin things for me?'. A military campaign in NK would be the single worst foreign policy decision America makes.

I think he's just trying to make the U.S. look weak, because he knows it would cause us a lot of trouble to fight North Korea.
