Let me tell you about Nevada...
Nevada can be split into three different areas politically, Clark County (Las Vegas and Metropolitan Area), Washoe County (Reno and Metropolitan Area), and the rest (Where I live, Elko County).
The first area is by far the worst. Las Vegas is like any other city, full of niggers, spics, gooks, and degenerates. The city is trashy, it's hot and dry, and the neighborhoods are fucking shit, I remember walking into a Shell station full of niggers. Summerlin is the wealthy white neighborhood. Clark County is the most liberal area by far, If it weren't for them, Nevada would vote Red much more often.
Washoe County is like a colder, shittier, less populated Las Vegas. Fortunately the University of Nevada, Reno is much more based than say, UC Berkeley. Reno and the area is really moderate, and can sway either way on election night, they voted for Hillary Clinton, and simultaneously for Joe Heck, Republican senate candidate.
Every other region is incredibly conservative, a lot of mine workers, ranchers, blue collar work. Very barren, a lot of tiny, shithole towns like Goldfield, Tonopah, and McGill. These places are pretty though, a lot of people like the outdoors, going hunting, fishing and all of that. The people who live in these areas are decent hardworking folks for the most part. I like living here.

Overall, the state is a generally liberal place, but there are enough Republicans and conservatives to keep autism from spreading too far.

The white areas (suburbs) of KC and STL aren't bad.

KCMO is pretty nice. It's actually a pretty good place for yuppies ("young urban professionals" - not hippies or whatever people seem to think it means). Reasonable cost of living and the MO side of KC is fairly safe for white people.

The suburbs of STL is where I'm from. You'll deal with a lot of rednecks and the occasional white trash - more white trash the further south from STL you go. But it's pretty run of the mill for suburbs. Saint Louis has a LOT of Catholics for some reason - and not just the Mexican variety. Monsanto and Boeing represent a decent percentage of workers in a lot of areas, which isn't bad I guess.

Outside of the metro areas, it's largely rural. The southern half of the state has a BAD meth problem. (((CNN))) did an hour-long special about meth and it was centered entirely in Jefferson/Franklin counties. Every now and then, the tweakers make their way into the suburbs. Springfield and Branson can fuck right off, but the Ozarks are fucking beautiful.

The inner-city (i.e. The CITY of Saint Louis) is a ghetto. East Saint Louis is in Illinois, so fuck em. Also very ghetto. Stay away. Elephant Graveyard status.

Florida anon here. The state is really diverse. Some places are hellholes. Others are the simply divine. Stay away from the cities, especially Orlando/Miami. Seriously, these are deathtraps. The panhandle is very nice and the interior of the state around Sebring/Avon Park has some of the nicest people you will meet. People complain about the weather and yeah it can suck. Take it from an unfortunate floridian, Florida has three main population types retired seniors, hispanics, and crazy people almost no one will fall outside of these three categories and some fall into more than one. It's a nice place to visit because you have minimal contact with the locals, but its hell to live here. Hurricane season can last up to half the year, making it hard to predict the weather if your planning a trip more than two weeks out. For sunny, when it is sunny, it is brutally hot and often disgutingly humid. Outside of the beaches its a mosquito haven, hope you like zika, chikungunya, and whatever other shit the mosquitos are carrying. If your a home owner in Florida you get the distinct pleasure of being in the only state in the US that you are at risk of having a sink hole under your home, no matter where in the state you live. Florida is a large enough state to have three distinct areas.

I will now describe every state I've ever lived in for all europoors and less traveled americans to see.

Northern portion of the state is literally Alabama and/or Georgia. Think pine trees, people rocking realtree camo outfits, shotguns, beer, and ATVs. Kid Rock is a perfect example of your average Northern Floridian.

Central portion has a fair mix of the people described above with a smattering of niggers, faggots, and retired people. It's also home to some of the most insane degenerates the United States has to offer. Every time you see a story about somebody throwing an alligator through a Wendy's drive through or something similar you can bet your ass it's from central Florida.

Southern portion is literally one massive swamp and then the Miami-Dade area. Miami-Dade is like little Brazil. Beautiful beaches, great tourist attractions, seedy underworld where people peddle drugs, muggings and robberies outside any of the highly trafficked tourist traps, and more drugs.

The Keys (the little islands below Florida) is literally just homos on jet skis.

Populated areas of Florida suck balls. Orlando is a shithole full of wonderful tourists that Disney sucks the life out of, and crack whores. Miami is great for SCUBA diving and fantastic Cuban food, but has lots of drug dealing criminals. Jacksonville smells like paper mills. Central Florida on the Atlantic side, that's my playing ground. Wonderful. Flat though. When I ride my bike, the highest point I reach is about 50' on the causeway.

If you don't like to be outdoors and sweating. If you're bothered by mosquitoes. If you don't like daily thunderstorms and occasional hurricanes, you won't like it here.

I myself love it. Family has been here since 1847. Crackers all 'round.

Nevada is hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and windy every other day. Nevada consists of a series of hills and valleys that never end. There are many species of animals in Nevada, but you will never see a single one of them unless they're dead on the side of the road.

The state government is OK and usually keeps its nose out of your business. But every once in a while (or all the time if you live in one of the two metro areas), they'll try to step on snek and you may have to go and organize a militia to keep those city folk from violating your NAP-lite. As far as gun laws go, the worst one -until EveryTownForGunSafety comes in again and steps on snek- is one that says you can't go and give your gun to other people in such-and-such situations. (Maybe I'd remember the details if the sheriff said he'd enforce it, but he's not, so I can't be bothered with it.)

The tax situation isn't too bad if you're outside of Clark and Washoe counties, but if you are in those two, make sure to complain as much as possible about them.

The primary industries of the state are tourism (casinos), mining (gold, silver, lithium, etc.), warehousing (thank you tax incentives), and maybe manufacturing if that Tesla plant turns out to be as big as some people rumor. The military is also a major source of employment with airbases and training grounds sprinkled throughout the empty desert.

There's lots of opportunities for outside recreation. (Even moreso if you're near the Sierra Nevadas.) There's miles upon miles of road to race your car down and even more if you're on something that can handle the dirt. There's also lots of mountains to hike (or ride your dirt bike up), even a mountain made of sand. (We call it "Sand Mountain". Very creative.) There's lakes that you can do watersports on and rivers that you can kayak down.

The two primary areas people live in are the Truckee Meadows (Reno/Sparks) and the Las Vegas Metro area (NorthLV, LV, Paradise, Henderson). With the exception of Carson City and Fallon, everywhere else is a small town that usually has only 1-2 thousand inhabitants max. There's also ranches and mines sprinkled through the desert.

Live here in Reno is pretty good with the desert in the east and the mountains in the west. Lots of fun stuff to do for a /out/ guy like me. Also nice is being close to all the amenities Reno provides. My biggest qualm is with the county government who loves to keep increasing the local taxes "For our struggling school system!" that they have criminally mismanaged. Oh well, at least I have my funs.

Nevada is a great place to make a start and retire. No state income tax and you can find very cheap housing. Yeah some neighborhoods are shitty but you can save up while you live there.

The only problem is - is the temptations of gambling. Ive seen gambling destroy lots of fucking people. If you can control yourself and not party hard in vegas, you can make a killing as a youngster. Cheap housing, no state income tax, and get a decent paying job while you learn a trade of go to school, you can set yourself up really nice.
