No matter what you think of him, he's one of the greatest men that have ever lived.

He reduced his nations poverty rate with over 50%. Increased healthcare and education. He BTFO neocon George Bush who he called the devil. And he named the Jew.

His central mistake was getting to close with communist Cuba, who he needed for better healthcare and education, and becoming to much of a commie and relying on oil revenue and not investing in buisnesses.

He never was a real commie, he called Cuba a dictatorship before he became president. If he was a Trotskyist as he claimed to be he would have never been so nationalistic, as this is contrary to their ideology. He believed in his God, Jesus Christ and the liberator of his country, Simon Bolivar. He didn't actually care about marxism or anything like that, he cared about his people, who had huge inequality before he was president. Plus he increased democracy, he had most media against him even while he was president.

Venezuela's current president is a full scale commie and doesn't understand economics which is why their country is doing so shit. Still corporations are a cause if the problem as well.
