It's totally impractical today. It's a non starter. Even if you claim to be using it to plan for when shit hits the fan, you probably won't survive that any ways and no on is going to listen to your beta male idealized post apocalyptic society idea even if you do, because Tyrone will have already seized power and banged your girl while his small hook nosed friend smiles and rubs his hands together

The Communists are more or less right that capitalism is cancer and causes many problems, however they don't have a viable solution to it. The only real solution to capitalism is anarcho-primitivism. But since I want to go to space I would prefer to just treat the symptoms until we can get off the planet.
