Based ? Heretic ?
What bother me the most with Protestantism is that the Bible was changed, some texts were removed. Can someone explain me why they did this ?
So, what's your actual stance on Protestantism in general ?
Also, should I read his work ? Which book ?

Like all christians, he picked and chose what he wanted to be in the bible then cast out the rest. His version just ended up being a major version that protestants follow. Also, considering the catholic church at the time was quite an asshole in the views of the people, that just added to his popularity.
People preaching about anything in shitty times tend to get followers.

It is understandable, but do you think he was right to preach those things ? Did he have goods point ? Which ones ?

As much right as every preacher before him.
His good point? Selling fun passes sanctioned by the catholic church to the sinful (everyone) was pretty much bullshit.

He is the reason Liberalism and Capitalism exist. Can't blame him though he couldn't predict the future.

Can you further explain ? Yes I know I'm harassing posters with questions but I'm interested. In which way he is the reason Liberalism and Capitalism exist ? Because he is a figure of reform and change ?
