Yeah, in the novel male and female military personnel are strictly segregated from each other. There is a great scene in the book talking about how male troopers would jump at taking the duty of guarding the separation hatch between the male and female sections of naval vessels just for a chance to SEE a woman.

Yeah. Although it does pretend that women have faster reaction times and better ability to resist G-forces (so they're all made ship captains). Also, it's more civil nationalist/one world government fascist, than white nationalist. The main protagonist is a flip, though behaves entirely like a white American.

fwiw, I did get that much out of the movie. It wasn't a major theme, and for sure the movie seemed more critical of of fascism than supportive. the book is ok, heinlein's writing style is a little dry and if you're expecting anything campy like the movie that's not at all the case

dizzy's character for example is largely fabricated in the movie and got a sex change from the few pages the character was even mentioned

if you can deal with dry prose it's worth reading
