Why would you believe that? Slavery in the USA was concentrated in southern luxury agriculture.

By no means was 'southern agriculture' the foundation of the monumental infrastructure programs which allowed the USA to grow so quickly, like the transcontinental railway. Then men who funded those superprojects didn't do it with slave money.

Now labor conditions were extremely shitty in many of those mega infrastructure projects, and lots of people died, but they were paid a wage and could quit if they wanted. That's not slavery.

Recently read some sound arguments that slavery was a big improvement for niggers.

E.g. Before that they were just uncivilized savages.
Slavery gave them an opportunity to step up in terms of civilization, discipline, culture etc.

Also without slavery they would not have been able to survive on their own in the US. They simply didnt have the means.

Remember Niggers are nowadays much much smarter than their ancestors, meaning those niggers working on the fields 200years ago were literally dumb as shit and without any hope.

Slavery was abolished because, when industrialization increased, plantation owners figured it would be much cheaper for them to just hire workers instead of having to pay for their food, housing, medical and supervision etc. . That "free the slaves" civil war propaganda shit came just shortly afterwards but eventually slavery was abolished because it was COST INEFFICIENT.

Tl;dr: Slavery was a good thing but got out performed as industrialization increased.

Slavery was a short-term strategy employed by rural and suburban retard Anglo AnCaps who moved to the south to take advantage of the soil instead of building industry.

The north and south held eachother in contempt because the northerners knew the southern retards' strategy was not only inefficient (raising and taking care of slaves versus paying a meager wage to Irish serfs you could keep at bay with alcohol and the bible), but it also polluted the south with Africans. The Southerners did almost everything in their power to prevent expelling the Africans, too proud of their backwards and autistic insistence on perpetuating a Master/slave fetishes on poor and hapless captives, while also lording over the fact that they owned people over the other white southerner have-nots.

Taking away the slaves removed a sociological dimension of power plantation owners had over the rest of southerners of all skin colors, natives, whites, and free blacks.

Meanwhile Northerners enjoyed all the same economic benefits of "captive" lower class, since anyone they could trick to come on a boat to the new world was S.O.L. if they didn't get with the program and work for their capitalist overlords.
