Is non ionizing radiation harmful to humans?

Non-ionising radiationdoes not penetrate deep into the tissues but increases theriskof damage to the skin and eyes. Dependent on the energy and exposure time,non-ionising radiationcan cause localised heating, or photochemical reactions can occur with possible permanent harm. Exposure should therefore be minimised

Dammit dilution is not always the solution. What if the radioactive material just settles at a certain depth and stays there? We are looking at possibiltiy of severy wipeout of lifeforms that are in that viscinity. And it's been happening already since 2012 except the media has been ignoring it.

Fukushima is the worst disaster of our time and there's literally nothing we can do to stop it.

Tepco doesn't know where melted cores are because they have melted deep into to the earth and radioactive groundwater keeps leaking into ocean. We cannot just pour concrete over it because it will leak into ocean anyway. Radiation inside the buildings is too high even for robots and humans would collapse in seconds.

Marine life is dying in pacific, you can google "pacific die-offs".

MSM is covering it up to avoid global panic. Tokyo isn't safe for 2020 olympics either. I would not be suprised if they were cancelled because by 2020 Japan is really fucked. People have radiation sickness symptoms and birth defects have gone trough roof.

Just remember my words if you don't believe me now. Fukushima will lead to major panic in the future when MSM cannot cover it up anymore.

It's much worse than chernobyl, reactor 3 had MOX-fuel made from plutonium, thats why it exploded critically, it wasn't hydrogen explosion. It has been estimated that by now Fukushima has released over hundred times more radioactive fallout into ocean than Chernobyl did into atmosphere.

America isn't safe either. Jet stream brings radioactive particles over the pacific and ocean currents will spread them around the world.

http://fukushima-diary.com/

Follow them if you want redpill on this. People don't realize that it will slowly kill whole globe. What happens when Japan runs out of nuclear engineers and becomes inhabitable? Who will fix it then?

Aircrews and people who fly a lot are suffering from radiation poisoning because planes attract radioactive particles from Fukushima:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MpTJ4ykgCw&list=PLw3jzIFn_oatFAZOBtdYVGmA9X0UifREU&index=18

Pilot are having blackouts and seizures, even fistfights have occurred. Aircrews get more radiation during 40 hours of flying than nuclear workers get in a year. Radiation levels inside planes have increased over tenfold after 2011 Fukushima accident. There's lots of static electricity on airplane skin which attracts radioactive particles and engines are sucking them also. Wigner effect is causing planes to fail.

http://exopolitics.blogs.com/peaceinspace/2014/02/faq-effect-of-fukushima-and-nuclear-testingdu-weapons-radiation-on-flying-in-commercial-airliners.html

Fukushima is massive coverup and it's much worse than MSM lets you believe. It's still leaking as we speak.

Real physicist here with 160+ IQ. You guys are both retards. The radioactive material has been continuously leaking into the Pacific Ocean since the 2011 incident. Now a lot of the disproving reports cite radiation levels of cesium-137 and cesium-134 being detected at normal acceptable ranges. The problem is, cesium is a heavy element, and I'm pretty sure it's denser than water. So...would it really make much sense to test water radioation levels at surface level or 200m below the surface when this radioactive material is probably situated at a deeper level?

Did anyone besides the US Navy bother testing ocean depths at 500m or 1km? That's where the real problem and the real question is....what is the radioactive contamination as you go deeper and deeper and how much of a real affect has it had on the wildlife at those depths. It doesn't take much to collapse an ecosystem.
>>
If you faggots seriously think that fucking Fukushima will affect anything legitimately, you're a retard. This is literally nothing.

It depends on the half-life of the radioactive isotopes

Some radioactive isotopes have half lives that last seconds, others last years.
The half life is how long it takes for the material to radiate away half of itself. Half-life of 5 hours means, every 5 hours half of the mass is gone.

The shorter the half-life the more dangerously radioactive an isotope is, but the faster it disappears.

So when you're supposed to stay inside for 2 weeks, that's because the really dangerous stuff has gone away. However, a better length of time would be 2 months, not 2 weeks.
>>
>>135728142
thanks. so is that why you think a much (much) larger amount of it wouldn't affect/contaminate water and sea life? seriously asking, we can't all be physicists and engineers. I'd love to hear your reasoning and would think you want to expound given your level of expertise.

Fun fact about Tschernobyl:

Decades after the event some scientists dared to enter the area and made some experiments with leafs. Stuffed leafs into bags with holes, left them in that area, then came back a few months later. Leaves don't decay there anymore because the bugs responsible for that simply don't exist anymore. Kiss goodbye to agriculture, Japan.

>Ever notice how no reputable nuclear scientists ever make a big deal about this shit?

Even if they knew about the problem talking about it wouldn't make a difference.
1) The scientist would quickly loose government grants, funding and private funding.
2) There is absolutely nothing they would be able to do about it.
Soviet Union had to resort to using mass human labor for most of Chernobyl clean up because even radiation resistant robots didn't last long until the constant exposure "melted" the circuits and rendered remote controls useless. The only thing robots have on humans in terms of radiation resistance is the ability to carry a lot more shielding material. In terms of actual resistance to effects of radiation I bet electric circuits go bye bye quicker than European human cells. It's truly difficult to really survey the totality of damage caused by Fukushima, much like Chernobyl the aftermath was wildly over predicted and under predicted depending on who you listened to but instances like this are an extreme rarity and many of the hypothetical problems don't immediately surface or are difficult to unskew from some naturally occurring instances of similar illnesses or accidents.

Is the media keeping a lid on it? I certainly wouldn't doubt but the damage whether media were stifled or not wouldn't be immediately known.
Regardless of severity its obviously not an epidemic level of death occurring in the immediate aftermath so you're likely to see a lot more cancer and birth defects.

Anyone who seriously believes that Fukushima does not pone a tremendous risk to the continuation of life on this planet, really needs to open their eyes. Chernobyl was insanely devastating, and still is. The Elephants Foot has only recently cooled down enough for scientists to start looking into it more, and it is STILL absurdly lethal, even requiring a whole new complex having to have been built around the old one because of how dangerous it was. Fukushima is far, far worse than that.

The resources in the Antarctic need to remain untouched. We have to talk about that or the globalists will rape the continent as the ice melts.
Think of those resources like a battery or a savings account for any future intelligent life which may emerge after we're gone. They'll need easily accessible resources, as our ancestors did, in order to progress through the various stages of civilization.

We're running out of fossil fuel mate. Germany still has a lot of coal, but that's it. We don't have oil, we can't use geothermics, we don't have enough sunshine for solar. We got some wind, but not enough to satisfy our energy needs. Nuclear was a great option for our country since we don't have earthquakes either, but we're shutting them down. And the traditional energy industry is refusing to move on to renewable, instead they are displacing thousands of villagers to dig out more coal. Fug.

Lol the people just don't know shit about radiation. The shit it's leaking is uranium, which has a very, VERY long half life. That doesn't mean it's "super radioactive" for really long, it means that it's hardly radioactive for really long. The shit you need to worry about isnt shit with very short half lifes (<1sec) or super long half lifes (>1,000,000 years) it's shit that's like 40 years, cause it's highly radioactive long enough to cause damage. But then after 80 years there's only 1/4 of the radioactivity as there was to start, so you just need to store it long enough to get the radioactivity down, so like 160 years or so.

http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/07/30/national/footage-reactor-3-may-force-rewrite-fukushima-road-map-officials-say/
I don't believe this for a minute, they already found holes through the floor.

Also, FUKUSHIMA was a targeted event, Israeli security firm had a "3D camera" shaped like a portable nuke, in every reactor, within "scanning" range.

If you look into the story, it's just 9/11 2.0. They want to make the next apocalypse look natural and are practicing before they freeze themselves and activate the purge, if you ask me.

agreed -

these reactors also stored the partially depleted rods overhead - they lost containment on those too

keep in mind who the plant manufacturer was and how that company fit in with the previous administration and you have another piece of the puzzle
>>
>>135733955
http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/07/30/national/footage-reactor-3-may-force-rewrite-fukushima-road-map-officials-say/

Mispoke, meant containment, not core. Teach me for not checking what I type off top of head.

The melted fuel did not burn through the pressure vessel but escaped through control rod insertion points. All fuel was contained within the primary containment vessel. The explosion was not a nuclear explosion, the containment vessel is intact.

All the radiation issues are due to the volume of cooling water being contaminated and having to be stored. Usually the core is cooled with a closed loop, water (under pressure) cools the core then is passed through a heat exchanger to cool it in turn. Now, water is having to be pumped in, passed over the fuel, then pumped out. There is no closed loop.

Now, here's the tricky part, little one. Why would the radiation levels be measured in centimeters? That makes no sense!

Hm... Let's think about this for a moment; we can ride the wave of critical thought. Wait a minute... WAVES! That might be our answer! Earthquakes cause tsunamis, which can be measured in centimeters. Clearly this picture is depicting estimated wave height, not radiation.

>Yoichi Shimatsu, a leading journalist and former editor of a national newspaper in Japan called Japan Times Weekly, says the U.S. and Israel knew Fukushima had weapons-grade uranium and plutonium that were exposed to the atmosphere after a massive tsunami wave hit the reactor. He contends that Israeli intelligence sabotaged the reactor in retaliation for Japan’s support of an independent Palestinian state.

>According to Yoichi Shimatsu, a former editor of Japan Times Weekly, these nuclear materials were shipped to the plant in 2007 on the orders of Dick Cheney and George W. Bush, with the connivance of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. The shipment was in the form of warhead cores secretly removed from the U.S. nuclear warheads facility BWXT Plantex near Amarillo, Texas. While acting as the middleman, Israel transported warheads from the port of Houston, and in the process kept the best ones while giving the Japanese older warhead cores that had to be further enriched at Fukushima.

>Shimatsu credits retired CIA agent and mercenary Roland Vincent Carnaby with learning the warheads were being transported from Houston. In a strange twist, Carnaby was mysteriously shot dead less than a year later by Houston police at a traffic stop. He was shot once in the back and once in the chest. He did not have a weapon in his hands. Intelligence sources said he had been tracking a Mossad unit that was smuggling U.S. plutonium out of Houston docks for an Israeli nuclear reactor.

>In an even more explosive charge, the journalist says that 20 minutes before the Fukushima plant’s nuclear meltdown, Israel was so upset with Japanese support for a Palestinian declaration of statehood that it double-crossed Japan by unleashing the Stuxnet virus on the plant’s computers. The virus hampered the shutdown, leading to fallout from a section of the plant housing uranium and plutonium retrieved from the warheads supplied in 2007.

>Footage of Holes
https://youtu.be/pc7_xn9Mde0

>Article about this video
>Published on Feb 3, 2017
Radiation inside the containment vessel of the No. 2 reactor at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant measures as high as a deadly 530 sieverts per hour, the highest since the 2011 disaster, plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) announced on Feb. 2.
TEPCO calculated the radiation dose from video noise on footage it took inside the containment vessel in late January, when a camera was inserted to examine conditions inside and scout a route for a scorpion-like observation robot scheduled to go into the vessel later this month.
Deployment of the robot is also being reconsidered after two gaping holes were found along the robot's planned path over a 5-meter-wide circular walkway inside the containment vessel, close to where the 530-sievert radiation dose was detected.
The holes in the metal grate walkway -- one of unknown size and the other measuring about 1 meter square -- make both routes considered for the robot impassable.
"We will consider re-evaluating what observations we can take with the robot," Yuichi Okamura, an acting general manager with TEPCO's on-site nuclear power division, told reporters at a Feb. 2 news conference.
Piles of a black and dark brown substance several centimeters thick and thought to be melted nuclear fuel were also observed on the walkway, creating a further possible obstruction to the robot. Meanwhile, examination of the 1-meter-square hole suggests the walkway was struck with tremendous force, hinting that there may be a large amount of melted fuel below.

It certainly wasn't *as* lethal as some others, but it is still dangerous enough that it required a whole other facility being built around it because it is still hot enough to melt through the damn floor of the old complex even to this day.

It is obvious that the ELITES such as World Bank, etc. want WWIII and if they can't have that? A low poisonous death will suffice. The article states that fuel is still in PCV and that it has only seeped out of holes for control rods. The shell of PCV is only 14 cm thick and lets face it, there is 364 tons of fuel debris just in that one reactor. Even if its not out as we speak, its a catastrophe waiting to happen. Also too many assumptions....
>“We do not presume that the vessel, which is 14 cm thick, melted and collapsed together with the fuel, but that part of the fuel instead made its way down through holes”
>Tepco thinks most of the fuel in reactor 1 fell to the bottom of the primary containment vessel, and that some of the fuel in reactor 2 remained in the pressure vessel.

lol no.

It's the inverse, most radioactive material is quite heavy and would sink to ocean bottom then get melted back into the mantle by induction zones or the rift. Tritium and a few others do travel well, but the sheer size of the pacific ocean means that fukushima barely register a few kilometer off the coast.
>>
>>135736212
>The annual average effective dose from natural background radiation is approximately 1.8 millisieverts (mSv) in Canada and 2.4 mSv worldwide.
Now lets see in Fukushima
>Radiation fluctuated widely on the site after the tsunami and often correlated to fires and explosions on site. Radiation dose rates at one location between reactor units 3 and 4 was measured at 400 mSv/h at 10:22 JST, 13 March, causing experts to urge rapid rotation of emergency crews as a method of limiting exposure to radiation. At times, radiation monitoring was hampered by a belief that some radiation levels may be higher than 1 Sv/h, but that "authorities say 1,000 millisieverts [per hour] is the upper limit of their measuring devices."

So, let's say that you aren,t mentally challenged and you understand that denser materials tend to sink.
Now imagine that by a well understood geological process, the denser ocean tectonic plates subduct (ie go under) the less dense continental plates.
So, you have ocean plates withbits of radioactive materials on it. Said material is exctremely dense.

Now, the plate sinks beneath a continental plate into the mantle. The mantle is semi plastic, allowing the dense particle to sink further down, and rather hot so they melt with the rest of the goop there.

>In the morning of 18 July 2013 at 8:20 a.m. (2320 GMT) small amounts of steam escaped from the reactor building. Video images made by a subcontractor, filming the destroyed building and preparing to remove rubble from the place, showed some vapors rising, but it was unclear where it came from. Although there was no change in the afternoon, TEPCO said that radiation levels did not change, and the reactor was still cooled.[90] < article referenced 404'd LOL still think it's not a conspiracy? Retard!!!

According to TEPCO rain could have found its way to the primary containment of the reactor, and because this vessel was still hot, it could cause the steam.[91] The next day at 7:55 a.m. the steam was gone. Because the radiation levels were too high all work to remove rubble was done by remote control. Operations stopped after the steam was found. According to TEPCO the rain on 17 and 18 July was to blame.[92] On 18 July the actual dosage measurement was 562 millisieverts per hour, therefore the NRA ordered TEPCO to make further investigations. On 23 July at 9:05 the steam was seen again coming out of the fifth floor just above the reactor containment. The night before a rain shower did hit the building, and water might have reached the - 38C - reactor container lid, or might have reached hot fuel left behind in the reactor vessel. At that moment the ambient temperature was 20.3 C and the humidity was 91.2 percent. All work removing rubble from the place was halted.[93] During the last event, radiation levels were measured at 24 locations around the fifth floor of the reactor building. The dosage ranged between 137 millisieverts and 2,170 millisieverts per hour.[94]
