John McCain unannounced goes into surgery the week he is supposed to testify about his involvement with Fusion GPS. After things calm down and Jared, Manafort and Stone testify to the senate panel. John McCain returns and announces he had successfully had a toomer removed from his brain. Everyone on capital hill including the POTUS virtue signal how brave McCain is, automatically forgive him and don't dare question his morals or patriotism.
Day later, McCain gives very bizarre pro-New World Order, pro-establishment speech, and essentially declares himself equal to the President and goes on a rant about people on the radio who criticize him.
Next day, McCain votes against the Obamacare repeal "skinny bill" screws over the entire country. Goes back to being the treasonous piece of filth he is, and no one questions the fact he literally survived brain cancer in a week, and returned to work the next day without missing a beat.
How many people do you know that have terminal brain illness just shake it off and return to work the next day???
...and it's the perfect excuse for him to fake his own death, if he is called to testify again about the Russian Piss-Gate dossier.
