Yes. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. I didn't give him better than 20% odds of making a difference when he was elected, but at least he had a chance, unlike everyone else in politics. Unfortunately Trump isn't cognizant of the full scale and nature of the problems facing our society, and his room to maneuver is quite constrained. He made a huge mistake when he allowed the kidnapping and torture of a white man by black thugs go unaddressed. Unless the tone of the 2018 primaries is very harsh, and tackles race issues directly, I'd expect widespread ethnic violence to be gripping the country by summer.
