They aim at us with psychological triggers that they are affected by, things that specifically trigger insecurities the those experiencing cognitive dissonance.
They have no concept that the path of the red pill frees you of these things and you just ignore them, that this is actually what being based means.
Sure they might be able to corral and trigger the new fags but the new fags will learn, they have already taken the first step out of the social construct and are on the right path. In fact the shills and bait threads have basically just created a new right of passage.
Could you imagine just how much more effective the shills could be if the actually read some of pols suggested material, some of the philosophical concepts and looked into some of the red pills.
Imagine how much their level of game theory would improve?
They could actually become a challenge.
