if you start now, you can do it legally and peacefully, which MIGHT lower the chances of them genociding you, as the further along you are, the more resistance you will create.
of course... it's a possibility that in the long run this is not a good thing, if perhaps those that are genetically and memetically not valuable persist, they could get in the way of a good culling. I haven't really explored the idea beyond the initial premise though. {I'm really dysfunctional. Assuming this condition isn't easily remedied and if I had some value in the diversity of the stock, I'd probably be a decent candidate for culling.}
