Only two of those are direct consequences of war, the other two are military technologies developed during peacetime.

The resources spent fighting are better spent building infrastructure, funding research and in economic ventures.

This isn't a case of "unite everyone to fix everything". You need to fix everything before you can unite everyone. Fixing everything would cause a war because we'd get bored though.

You cannot unite more than 80%. You need space for (human) waste. Also that means one government. Now that's some insane level corruption if it comes to live. There are people who are problematic. All shitskins should be destroyed, and all interest groups should be destroyed for this. You have to get rid of the unworthy and the ones with deception. As long as nation-states exist in full independence, even hegemonic ones, war will continue to exist.

We can never fix everything though. The bad thing about humanity is that we've always got a problem ahead of us. A world united in purpose, however, can focus ridiculous amounts of resources to fix the most critical of issues much faster than any alliance or treaty could ever imagine to.

It doesn't have to be totalitarian nor unified in culture. A democracy would work, although in my personal preference I'd like an emperor. The right to bear arms would discourage sudden attempts at installing tyranny. It's really a question of how well the first leader can set a foundation for a stable, long-lasting empire.

On the issue of culture, it really is a problem. But if we can make most people feel they are part of this, that they are surprisingly similar to each other, we will have a new identity that will keep this dream alive.

You're retarded if you don't realize that all humans have essentially the same objectives. You've all been convinced by propaganda that your way of life/beliefs are somehow different and superior. What the fuck do you think the ultimate goal of capitalism, socialism, fascism, communism, Christianity, Islam, any political or religious belief system is? To provide the best way of life for all.

Splitting people up like that is the easiest way to maintain power over them. Think about somewhere like North Korea. 99% of their citizens would be incredibly better off if they were under the government of South Korea or China. Yet the leaders of North Korea would never willingly acknowledge that their way of life/governing is flawed because then they would have to give up power. The more they can split humanity into small groups like this, the more people that can get in power and take advantage of them. Nationalism is the ultimate power play, globalism is the path to true freedom.
