I can feel it coming; can you?
It's been building up since before 2001. Now it seems we're on an unavoidable crash course off the deep-end. North Korea will be the first destabilization event, Iran will be the second. Either of them could spark it on their own, both together will set the stage for worse.
War-time measures will be put into place - in order to maintain civil order, the internet will be de-anonymized (and it will never be anonymized ever again, no matter what). Russia just passed a bill doing this, China's already doing it. Western security apparatuses have probably already been implemented to do it in secret. De-anonymization is necessary to round up ring-leaders and dissidents who will be starting riots, terrorist attacks, and more.
The major powers of the world know that economic collapse = political collapse = civil war = worse than nuclear war for the politicians and Elites. Nobody is backing down this time. Everyone learned from the collapse of the soviet union in the 90's. They aren't giving up their stranglehold on power. They would rather burn the entire world to ashes than do that. USA, Europe, Russia, China - none of the Elites are any different. Everything will be done to protect Elites - national populations are a secondary concern after that.
If nuclear war starts in earnest, it will probably be after 2018 or 2019; once everyone has their anti-ballistic missile 'shields' and believes they can shoot down the majority of ICBM's.
The major battle grounds will likely be: The Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe, South East Asia, Korean Peninsula, Japan, East China Sea, Sea of Japan, Arctic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea
This thread is for discussing what we can all do to prepare for the war.

*Secondary non-military targets will be food production and to a lesser extent, power generation
