Probably also because leftists run the trends and hollywood and patriotism is a bad thing nowadays

For us, "Unknown Soldier"'s 2017 remakes comes out in a few months, and I expect some patriotism from it, but most likely much anti-war and "finns were aggressors" message. They still broadcast the original 1955 version on independence days, and that has none of those on it. It does have some great one liners like "2. Liutenant Koskela from Finland. Eats iron and shits chains" and "shoot them in the nuts"
