If you buy a whole frozen goat here in Edmonton, AB it was $1.64 a pound. This was last year though. And you got the whole goat. It's good that you haven't tried UHT before. Let me explain why. In order to make UHT milk, and the reason they do, is they heat up the milk to 212 degrees (F) for a few seconds in order to sterilize it and make it shelf stable for months. It doesn't even need to be refrigerated after this process. UHT milk used to be sold in the aisles but people never bought it.

The problem with this is that it gives the milk a slightly burnt taste as the natural sugars get burnt in the process and the natural proteins get denatured in such a way that they become hard to digest and damaging to your intestines.

I consider it a poison and will not buy it ever. But in some cases, like camel milk, UHT is the only economically viable way to get it to people without it expiring.

Being white just deals with lactose tolerance, goat milk is supposed to be better for digestion for a few reasons, one is that it is naturally homogenized (but there will still be some cream, though not as much as unhomogenized cow milk), two is that the fatty acids are shorter in length which is easier on the digestion, and the most important difference is that goat milk is entirely made up of A2 casein molecules, which is what we evolved drinking and so our bodies are used to. Most cows milk these days has A1 casein which is a new mutation which is tough on digestion and has opiod like properties in the brain, gives brian fog. But if your digestion is very strong you might not notice a difference as you said.
