Bulk of the GDP isn't made there. If you advertise on say google then payment is made via Ireland.
UK company advertises for UK customers payment goes via Ireland.
For some service based companies that could result in over 30% of the entire corporate turnover turning up in Ireland's GDP stats. Amount of work actually done in Ireland though is very low. Just payment processing.
Add in the double Irish tax arrangements and tax inversions and you get to that GDP.
Anecdotally I hear that wages are high and cost of living is also high. So the Irish don't actually feel wealthy.

Lived in Ireland for a couple years.

They pay shit, and most Irish are dirt poor. It's an extremely unequal society. Rents, especially around Dublin/North Wicklow are extremely high. Cost of food, gas, etc. is as high as the nordic countries.

Sweden is better in every way. Pays higher, tax is roughly the same, rents are regulated.
