Just a thread for discussion. Just curious if you guys know any good systems or have any better ideas or why I'm retarded.
I believe American Healthcare and British NHS both get a lot wrong.

A Nationalised Health care service should only be there to provide support for serious illness and as a safety net for those who are desperate, but it being universal costs way too much in tax in an period we are desperate for economic growth.

But in the American system you either have insurance (unless you're poor in which case you're fucked) or whatever the fuck Obama care tried to do.

I think a better system would be to have a balance between the two leaning in favour of private healthcare for those of average income or above.

I like the american system. Capitalism works. I worked so I could get a job with an employer who gives me a benefit of healthcare.
