Lore is cool AF, but most games have been mediocre at best. Only an autist can play the table top game long enough to get good enough at it to enjoy it. I liked the video games, but didn't love them. Bought them used and still felt like I paid a little too much. Renting might have been a better idea... Movies were about the same, but probably a result of production quality and not story.

If the lore has any problem it is that its too big. Comics deal with this issue by resetting storylines so new consumers have a jumping in point, but 40k doesn't have that kind of story line. It seems to be less about individual characters and more about the "world building." This means it attracts autists and scares away normies, and no one wants anything to do with autists or than other autists.

I did this when I was 12 but it was still the 90s. If I ever walk past a games workshop its filled with either neckbeard teens or 12 year olds. Their demographic has for a very long time been child orientated. 12 year olds don't have money but their parents do. Also dumping your kids at a games workshop for a few hours and letting the staff take care of them makes for a fantastic get away for yuppy moms. At least that's the case in my city.

Its uncuckable for several reasons, the main one being the time/money/effort investment required to participate in the hobby. That puts off most sjw infiltrator types (can you imagine someone like anita going through the effort of assembling and painting a space marine army for example with the sole purpose of bitching about the hobby?) No as easy to fake an interest in something like 40k . The 30 odd years of lore it has built up helps too and its also probably the straightest, whitest hobby in existence. GW are money grubbing jews but they know their demographic. To work for the company you have to be able to show knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of the hobby too.
You also have to remember it was created by old school british metal heads and bikers. Its chock full of masculinity, templar symbolism and fascist imagery too, unashamedly so. Its also one of the few sci fi franchises that has created some truly epic art and battle scenes in the style of some of the old masters.
The high price hikes (much as it pisses me off) have also served to keep casual fairweather scum out of the hobby.
The final reason that adds to its uncuckability is its a niche product that doesnt rely on advertising outside of its own publications.

Feminists/PETA and the like have tried having a pop (be it banning fur depictions or introducing female spess muhreens) but GW have always stood firm. The only time it seems to display any cuckery is when the licence gets given to a third party (some novels, vidya etc)
GW have a mindset - look at how they display their catachans on their website for an example of this: an army based on vietnam era US forces. If Anything thats more than an excuse to stick a few black troops in there but instead they choose to go for pic related.
As memes go, its also been claimed by the right too because 40k is very right wing in general. There is very little the left can latch onto in 40k.
