socialism never works, it works in the beginning when there is someone else's money to spend in bullshit programs and has room for failures. Later it breaks down. Venezuela has a super huge oil reserve as an out-of-jail card against failure, and look at it. Brazil has applied the socialist theories as soon as it became stable back in 2000s and now we are reaping the fruits of it, in the form of economic crisis and a deep political turmoil.
