How would the U.S respond to the UN demanding we abolish the constitution and bill of rights to install a totalitarian socialist police state, or face global embargo?
I can see this happening within 10 years.
>global embargo
Oh please Brer Fox, please don't cut off our supply of lead-painted toys and cheap dress shirts!

If (((they))) somehow manage to convince china to jump on the bandwagon, there might be trouble.
>>135542366
>china
I don't think you understand who "lead-painted toys" was referring to.

Huehehue, they'd lose 70% of their export revenue if they were forced to embargo the U.S
>>135541954
They need us more than we need them. Expelling the US from the global economy would crush the global economy. In the mean time, we have most of the raw materials we need to produce things domestically. It'd take a while, but we'd be able to build factories and supply ourselves with what we need.
Never gonna happen mate.

>UN
>demanding things
>being able to make demands
>being able to enforce anything
>being able to call for global embargo
>being able to force countries to embargo
I like that the thread is different and could be a nice discussion, but the subject is far too ludicrous to take seriously.

I'd just love them see them actually try it and have it backfire horribly (for them).
>>135541954
>totalitarian socialist police state
It is the future you allowed to happen
>>135541954
By vetoing it and then bashing the leader of the IEU in the head with a whiskey bottle while declaring a crusade.

Just wait until there will be next underground Nazi paramilitary group and another Isis to attack UN and make a great home war. This is not gonna end well at all.
>>135541954
>totalitarianism
>socialism
>police state
Or
>total isolation
Why not both?
