Thoughts on drugs Pol?

So what are your thoughts on drugs pol? For me they have allowed me to change my perspective on my own life, my political alignment and how I see the world and what surrounds me. It has made me calmer and more inclined to listen to different arguments irl and has helped me with my work and university. By no means do I have a reliance on any drug but I do enjoy cannabis every now and then, MDMA and LSD. Due to a change in how my brain works I have also taught myself to read and understand better, play less vidya and care about my friends and family more. Of course no one apart from my close academic and friend circle knows this and it doesn't give me that elite feeling and I know that drugs aren't for everyone. If you have used drugs what are your experiences in relation to your own political views and if not why? I must reiterate that brain altering chemicals aren't for everyone but under the correct stimuli and dosage psychedelic drugs can have great benefits.
