I thought about adding that their may be multiple social hierarchy's. Based upon your environment, so the university have a social hierarchy, your class have one, in your work-space, your family.

Not if you criticize the ideas themselves and not the people. Whenever I argue with progressives, I am careful to always criticize the ideas and not the people (although I do complain about the people to myself if they've had enough bad ideas). They may screech "racist!" and "bigot!" as forms of arguing but demolishing their ideas is necessary to prevent those mistakes from being practiced in society and actually affecting people.
